Payment Terms: Clients are required to pay a non-refundable deposit of 50% of the total amount upon booking, including travel and admission fees, to secure their session/event date. The remaining balance is due two (2) days prior to the session/event date. Late payments may be subject to a 10% late fee. Payments can be made via PayPal, Venmo and CashApp.

Cancellations: In the event of cancellation or rescheduling, clients must provide at least a 3 days notice. The deposit is non-refundable but can be applied to a future booking within 24 hours of cancellation. Cancellations made sameday or within 1 to 2 days of the session/event date will incur a cancellation fee of 25% of the total session costs.

Client Responsibilities: Clients are responsible for obtaining any necessary permits, permissions, or access required for the photography session/event. Clients must also provide timely and accurate information regarding the location, schedule, and any specific requirements for the shoot.

Copyright and Usage Rights: Emerald Shutter Photography retains the copyright to all images taken during the session/event. Clients are granted personal usage rights to reproduce and display the images for non-commercial purposes. The photographer reserves the right to use the images for promotional purposes, including but not limited to website, social media, and portfolio. Clients may purchase commerical rights for +50% the total session cost.

Delivery of Photos: Clients can expect to receive their edited photos and videos within a 4 to 6 week timeframe, delivered via Email. The format of the images and videos will be JPEG and MP4. Rush delivery options are available upon request for an additional fee.

Liability and Indemnity: While every effort will be made to capture high-quality photographs and video, Emerald Shutter Photography and staff are not liable for unforeseen circumstances such as equipment failure, weather conditions, or scheduling conflicts. Clients agree to indemnify and hold harmless Emerald Shutter Photography and staff against any claims, damages, or losses arising from the client's use or reproduction of the images.

Travel, Admissions and Misc fees: Additional services such as travel outside [specific area], special editing requests, or extra hours of coverage may incur additional fees.

Updates to these Terms of Service: We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Please review this page periodically for changes. Your continued use of our services after any modifications to this Terms of Service will constitute your acknowledgment of the modifications and your consent to abide and be bound by the modified Terms of Service.
